IMG_0056b.JPG - I originally didn't plan to put binding on the dezzz. But I changed my mind. It does add a touch of class and some minor amount of edge protection to the instrument. I'm sure I'll regret the hassle later. I made this little set up using a 1/2" router bit and an 3/8" bearing. This makes a binding width of 1/16" which is more than I like, so I build up the bearing diameter to .410" using copper foil tape. The wood piece supports the edge of the instrument (otherwise the arching of the top will cause the side to tip). The set up works really well, and I zip through the cut pretty quickly.
