| This is how a scarf joint is made, first the neck angle is laid out (watch the orientation) and C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y cut on the roughed out neck. You need a steady hand here or the headstock will be crooked. The cut surfaces are then smoothed with a block plane. |
