lumps.jpg - We got a couple of additions to the household. Our vet talked me into taking two Sonoran Desert Tortoises off his hands. We have no names for them yet, and Frankie the Turtle seems to have zero interests in her new "cousins." These tortoises are considered a protected species, so you're not allowed to harrass them in the wild. But these two were raised as captives, so it's OK to be their care-givers. They're surprisingly social and friendly. They're called, for now, Lump No. 1 and Lump No. 2. They're 5 years old. Average lifespan: 80 to 100 years! Send me ideas for names.
