  IMG_0523.JPG - To improve the sound transfer, the soundboard needs to be reinforced with bracing. I opted for an X pattern near the far side of where the bridge will be. Because of the reinforcement, I opted for a relatively high bridge with a slight pivoting action (like a violin bridge). The short high freq strings will do less pivoting than the long low freq string. Maple blocks on the side will be the anchor for the strap pins.
