Up xmas compilation Prev Next Slideshow

This card was sent out in 1998. I didn't have Photoshop yet, and it was done with a non-layered image processing program. The "trees" are silica dendrites defects that formed on a silicon chip. Daira took the picture on an SEM. I inserted a picture of me on a horse (Sage) that I was learning to ride on at the time. The dendrites looked like pine trees, they were probably about 0.01" tall.
